Provisional bookings from 31st July 2020
Wales isn’t open for visitors yet, but we know its still important to have something to look forward to.
It will be the Welsh government to decide when it will be safe to open our 4 self-catering properties, but we know it is also important to have something to look forward to during lockdown.
That’s why we are offering you this flexible booking option that means you can provisionally book your preferred holiday dates and don’t end up out of pocket or waiting for a refund if your holiday can’t go ahead because of the latest government guidelines.
How does our ‘no deposit’ booking work?
Its simple – book your holiday dates in our online booking system without needing to pay a deposit during lockdown.
We will review the booking situation every 3-weeks in line with government lockdown advice and once we have confirmation that your booking dates can go ahead we will email you with an online payment link to confirm your booking. You’ll then have 5 days to confirm your booking.
What will I
need to pay & when to confirm my booking?
If, when we receive
confirmation that we are able to safely & legally open for your chosen
dates, your booking is:
1. Still more than 8 weeks away we
will email you to request payment of a booking deposit of 30% of the booking
total. Your provisional booking will be held open for 5 days after receipt of
the booking deposit email. Once you have paid your deposit the terms of
our usual cancellation policy will apply.
Your remaining balance including your refundable breakage deposit will
then be due for payment no later than 8 weeks before your arrival date.
2. Within 8 weeks we will
email you to request payment of your balance & breakage deposit in full.
Your provisional booking will be held open for 5 days after this email is sent
to you. Once you have paid your balance in full the terms of our usual
cancellation policy will apply.
3. Or if your booking falls into a period of
‘lockdown‘, which are reviewed by the Welsh Government every 3
weeks, we will contact you with the option to move your provisional booking to
another date later in the year or to cancel without charge.
While we are not taking a deposit from you at this time, we do recommend that
you consider taking out your own holiday insurance which is appropriate for
your needs as soon as you make any payments.
What if I need to change my
provisional booking?
We won’t open until
it is safe & legal to do so and the guidance in Wales can sometimes be a
little different from that elsewhere so we will keep in regular touch with you
to keep you informed of the latest situation.
If you need to change your provisional booking at any time, you just need to let us know by emailing stay@geufronfarm.com. Any changes during the official lockdown period will not incur any charges.
If you have any questions at all about our properties, the area or your provisional booking we’d love to hear from you at stay@geufronfarm.com
We look forward to welcoming you to Geufron Farm & thank you for choosing to holiday with us in beautiful Southern Snowdonia.
Stay
safe,
Hannah & Dean Jones
